James Lee

James Lee is a litigation lawyer focused on criminal defence, family law, and civil litigation. He represents clients across the Lower Mainland and throughout British Columbia.

James earned a B.MSc (Honours) from Western University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2015. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in August 2016 and to the Alberta Bar in April 2019, and has built trial experience in both provinces.

Since 2016, his practice has focused on criminal law. He appears regularly in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and is now in his eleventh year before the courts.

James practises in English and Korean. He builds clear, evidence-driven strategies tailored to the facts of each case and the client’s goals — whether the right path is negotiating a favourable resolution or going to trial.
