Elisha Francis

Elisha joined Moes and More Law Corporation in 2025. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026. Elisha practices in the area of criminal law.
Elisha graduated from the Thompson Rivers University’s Faculty of Law in 2024. In law school, Elisha was the President of the Runnymede Society and facilitated running events dedicated to intellectual diversity on the ideological spectrum. Elisha was also a member of the First Generation Network TRU Chapter that helped support students who were the first in their families to attend law school. She also spent her summers gaining practical experience in multiple areas of law and volunteering at her local Catholic Church. In her final year at TRU, Elisha also received the student award for the TRU Kamloops Community Legal Clinic and her service in representing clients in areas including residential tenancy, employment standards, small claims and criminal court.
Prior to attending law school, Elisha achieved a Bachelor in Arts for Political Science from the University of British Columbia. She was also an active participant in the UBC Model Parliament and UBC Moot Court. During this time, she also worked for many Members of Parliament as well as Members of the Legislative Assembly.
Outside of the office, Elisha loves going to church, exploring, trying new foods, reading and watching movies. Her favorite series is the Lord of the Rings. One of her favorite quotes from LOTR is the dialogue between Sam and Frodo:
“Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.”
Like Frodo and Sam, Elisha hopes to fight and help as many people as she can.
